MAN ARRESTED FOR MURDER IN SHOOTING INVOLVING HIS FATHER

A man was recently booked into jail on serious charges in connection with the death of his father on the morning of Jan. 11, according to local law enforcement. Nevada police arrested a 22-year-old man and charged him with the murder of his 54-year-old father. As of this report, the victim has not been identified publicly by police.

According to the police report, officers arrived at the scene around 11:40 a.m. They discovered the 54-year-old victim dead of an apparent gunshot wound. Police say there was no history of domestic dispute calls at this address, but that three people were home at the time of the shooting, presumably including the suspect.

The 22-year-old was arrested under suspicion of murder and was summarily taken to jail. It is unclear if he remains in police custody at this time, or if he is free on bail. No court date has yet been publicly announced in this case. Police are believed to still be investigating the tragic event.

Murder charges are obviously very serious allegations for anyone, particularly when one family member is accused of killing another. Depending on the specifics of the case, the charge of murder will likely be fleshed out as the Nevada police investigation continues, and upgraded or downgraded based on what they learn about the events precipitating the alleged shooting. However, the burden of proof will be on them to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the man shot his father intentionally while in possession of his faculties. Otherwise the charge could be downgraded to manslaughter or even dropped altogether.

Skillful Defense Against Any Type Of PCS Or Marijuana Possession Charge

My only concern is securing the best available result for each client I serve. I am diligent If you are found in possession of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, a medication for which you have no doctor's prescription, club drugs or drug paraphernalia, I will present the strongest possible case to show that the drugs were not yours or that the police had no grounds to perform the search that led to the discovery of the drugs.

If the prosecution has compelling evidence in your case, I will pursue every available option in an effort to avoid a conviction on your record. Depending on the circumstances surrounding your case, it may be possible negotiate 3363 treatment that would allow for your case to be dismissed after you complete court-ordered classes or drug treatment.
